These baskets are not complicated to make and can be done in a short period of time.

To make your own Easter basket you will need the following materials. A square piece of cardboard. The size of the square will determine the size of your basket so take care when deciding what size you want. A piece of cardboard or thick ribbon which will be used for the handle. You will also need a pencil, glue, scissors and two fasteners. Brads will suffice. However, you can also use thumb tacks if you do not have brads. In order to make your basket colorful you will also need a variety of stickers, coloring materials and other supplies depending on how you plan on decorating the basket.

You can design different Easter baskets by using different supplies on each of the Easter baskets you make. The first step is to divide the cardboard into nine equal squares. Then you must cut four lines in the card. Carefully, cut two lines dividing the second row of squares from the first and third. The depth of your cut should be one square. Once this is done you should decorate your Easter basket. You should do a couple of trial runs with scrap cardboard to see how your final product will look like. Once this is done simply fold the basket and attach the handle and your basket is done. You can keep doing this process and make any amount of Easter baskets you require.

However, if you do not want to make Easter baskets out of cardboard you can purchase a fruit basket and use it as a starting point for your basket. Common decorations for these types of baskets are ribbon and flowers. You can even make your own decorations to make your Easter baskets personal. Making an Easter basket is a good way to spend some time with your children during one of the most important holidays of the year.
